Yoshiaki Takahashi, Senior Research Fellow at IIPS, was invited to the conference on business of GNH at Thimphu, Bhutan.

The Opening Session of the Conference with Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister of Bhutan, Lyonpo Jigme Zangpo, the Speaker of National Assembly and other ministers.

Yoshiaki Takahashi made a speck in front of experts around the world.

Yoshiaki Takahashi, Senior Research Fellow at IIPS, was invited to the conference on business of GNH at Thimphu, Bhutan, between 7-10 November, by the Centre for Bhutan Studies and GNH (CBS). The Prime Minister of Bhutan, the Speaker of National Assembly, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and four other ministers attended the conference. Takahashi gave a speech about optimum time allocation to maximize job satisfaction. He recommended business to look at the relationship between staffs' job satisfaction and working hours to improve workers' motivation and labor productivity. Followed his recommendation, the CBS tries to calculate the optimum time allocation for Bhutanese workers based on the recent GNH survey data.
