Nakasone Peace Institute "Digital Technology and Economy/Finance" 2020 8th workshop &Notification of coming open workshop (held on 2th Feburuary)

The 8th workshop, which theme was " What is the foundation for national security over finance and political economy in the digital age?", was held on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, via the web-conference. The speakers were Prof. Yozo Nishimura (Ritsumeikan University) and Dr. Masaki Sakamoto (Economist, Marubeni Research Institute). Please see here for the detail.

In addition, an extended open workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 14:45-16:15 (JST) via web conference. (Sorry, Japanese language Only)

The theme will be "Dots and Lines: Global Collaboration in the Age of Digital Competition". The speakers are Dr.Teruo Kishi, President of the Innovative Structural Materials Association (ISMA), who served as the first Science and Technology Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Dr. Masato Kamikubo, Professor at Ritsumeikan University, and Dr. Atsuhiro Goto, a member of the study group and President of the Institute of Information Security (IISEC).
