Reason for Selection: As an expert on military and security policy regarding Russia, he has made significant contributions to shaping public opinion in Japan by actively disseminating accurate, prompt, and balanced information on the invasion of Ukraine.

Ms. Suzuki Ayame (Incentive Award)

Age: 44
Nationality: Japan
Professor, Doshisha University

Reason for Selection: As a specialist in Malaysian politics, she has made a remarkable contribution to Southeast Asian studies in Japan by seeking to integrate regional and theoretical studies, and by publishing many useful research results from both academic and social perspectives, both in Japan and internationally.

Mr. Nagai Yosuke (Incentive Award)

Age: 31
Nationality: Japan
Founder, Chief Executive Officer, NGO Accept International

Reason for Selection: He has made remarkable achievements in organizing support activities for de-radicalization and reintegration of surrendered soldiers and arrested persons from terrorist organizations and gangs in Somalia and other conflict areas around the world, as well as in theorizing the findings obtained through his activities.
